People's Deputy refers to the National Bank's data on as of December 1, 2023. In particular, Getmantsev writes that the volume of non-performing loans (NPL) amounted to UAH 423.1 billion. In November, their volume decreased by UAH 2.1 billion, over 11 months from the beginning of the year – by UAH 9 billion.
81.9% of NPL belong to state banks. The total amount (without Privatbank) is UAH 167 billion. (+22.8 billion UAH since the beginning of the year). The increase reflects the addition of Sense Bank's NPL, which was nationalized in July. At the same time, the volume of problem loans of Privatbank (UAH 179.3 billion) remains relatively stable (+UAH 0.4 billion since the beginning of the year). The lion's share of the latter consists of NPL issued to enterprises associated with the former owners of the bank, Getmantsev noted.
The share of NPL from the total volume of the loan portfolio decreased to 37% (minus 1.1 percentage points since the beginning of the year). This is the lowest value of the NPL portion in the current year. Before the full-scale war, this share was 26.6%.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance wrote that Privatbank was selling a portfolio of bad consumer loans worth 500 million.
