On Tuesday, January 2, the dollar exchange rate did not change on the cash market. The euro fell in price by 5 kopecks in purchases and increased in price by 10 kopecks in sales.

Foreign exchange market
In exchange offices, the dollar fell in price by 17 kopecks in purchases and by 10 kopecks in sales. The euro exchange rate lost 13 kopecks in purchases and 10 kopecks in sales.
On the cash market, hryvnia to dollar quotes are 38.20−39.00 UAH. The euro is bought for 42.10 UAH, and sold for 43.20 UAH.
According to the currency auction, on the black market (in exchange offices) the dollar is traded for 38.50-39.30, the euro – 42 ,40−43.40 UAH.
Interbank opened in the range of 37.91−37.99 UAH/$. Trading in euros takes place at the level of 41.80−41.89 UAH/euro.
