On Thursday, January 5, on the cash market the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks in purchases and by 8 kopecks in sales. The euro exchange rate has not changed.

Foreign exchange market
In exchange offices, the dollar fell by a penny in purchases and increased by 4 kopecks in sales. The euro exchange rate added 3 kopecks in purchases and 7 kopecks in sales.
On the cash market, quotes of the hryvnia to the dollar are 38.30−39.05 UAH. The euro is bought for 42.00 UAH, and sold for 42.85 UAH.
According to the currency auction, on the black market (in exchange offices) the dollar is traded for 39.09-39.23, the euro – 42 ,60−42.87 UAH.
Interbank opened in the range of 38.17−38.20 UAH/$. Trading in euros takes place at the level of 41.70−41.72 UAH/euro.
