US President Joe Biden signed a temporary bill that will fund the federal government until early March and prevent a government shutdown, Reuters reports with a link to the White House.

The White House website says that the signing of the temporary law will provide “appropriations for federal agencies for fiscal year 2024 to extend projects and measures funded in four of the 12 annual appropriations bills through March 1, 2024.”
With the US avoiding a shutdown, the next week in the Senate is expected to be a busy one. The House of Representatives, writes People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, will have time to make decisions on the budget and a package on issues of the Mexican border and Ukraine.
