Net sales of dollars by the National Bank this week increased to $322.3 million from $200.4 million a week earlier. This is evidenced by the regulator's data.

This result was achieved due to an increase in foreign currency sales from $201.2 million to $322.6 million, while purchases remained meager and even decreased from $0.8 million to $0.3 million.
The official rate over the past week weakened from 37.6234 UAH/$1 to $37.9719 UAH/$1. On the cash market over the week, the dollar rose in price from 38.20 UAH/$1 to $38.44 UAH/$1.
As reported, at the end of January, the NBU’s net sales decreased to $2.53 billion from $3.55 in December , $2.45 billion in November and $3.34 billion in October.
In December, the Ministry of Finance attracted $5 billion in external financing, which ensured an increase in international reserves by 4.4% – to $40.5 billion, which is the second highest figure in history after July 2023.
