Microsoft will increase investments in artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure in Spain by $2.1 billion over the next two years, company president Brad Smith announced.

According to him, investments go beyond the simple construction of centers data processing and are “a testament to Spain’s 37-year commitment to security, development and the digital transformation of its government, business and population.”
Spanish President Pedro Sánchez published a photo from his meeting with Smith and thanked him for his confidence in Spanish economy.
“Cooperation between the public and private sectors is necessary to successfully address the challenges of digital transformation,” he said.
