Today, on the first day of spring, the National Bank is introducing a new commemorative coin “Parental Happiness” into circulation. This was reported by the regulator's press service.

What the coin looks like
On the obverse of the coin there is a composition: parental hands gently holding baby's feet as a symbol of trust, protection and love that unites a family.
The reverse depicts a child sleeping peacefully on soft clouds among toys (made in color printing). Above the baby is a rattle, shining against the background of the night sky and giving serene dreams, a feeling of peace and comfort.
Characteristics
- The commemorative coin “Parental Happiness” is made of nickel silver and has a denomination of 5 hryvnia. The circulation of the coin is up to 100,000 pieces (in souvenir packaging). The author of the design is Vladislav Yarovoy.
Where to buy
From March 7, 2024, coins will be sold in the online store of numismatic products of the National Bank and distribution banks (Ukrgasbank, Radabank, Taskombank, Privatbank).
In total, 25 thousand commemorative coins are planned to be sold through the NBU online store, of which 15 thousand on the first day of sale.
Also in April of this year, the commemorative coin “Parental Happiness” will be put into circulation made of silver. The NBU will inform you about this additionally.
