8,000 Ukrainian families took out loans for the purchase of housing under the Oselya program for a total of UAH 12.2 billion. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

A quarter of the loans issued since the beginning of 2024 are for the purchase of apartments from the developer: ready or under construction.
In particular, last week Ukrainians received under the “Eoselya” program, 173 loans worth UAH 282 million, among which:
- 90 military personnel and security forces, 24 teachers, 9 doctors and 4 scientists received loans at 3% interest; 39 Ukrainians without their own home, 2 IDPs and 5 veterans received loans at 7% interest.
More often loans were taken out to purchase housing on the secondary market (134 loans), while 31 Ukrainians took out a loan to purchase an apartment from a developer, 8 took out an apartment in a building under construction.
< p>Residents took out the most mortgage loans:
- Kyiv region – 47; the city of Kyiv – 27; Lviv region – 12; Odessa region – 11; Khmelnitsky region – 10.

Today, both representatives of certain professions and citizens who do not own housing or want to improve its conditions can take advantage of the affordable lending program.
< p>For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists, the preferential rate is 3% per annum. For other categories – combatants, veterans, IDPs, other citizens – the mortgage rate is 7%.
