The Cabinet of Ministers adopted changes to the resolution “Some issues of payment of residence allowance to internally displaced persons.” The deadline for submitting applications for government assistance has been extended until April 30. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.

That is, IDPs who received such assistance and applied for its extension in April will be able to receive payments starting in March.
By personally submitting an application, they can receive assistance for another 6 months:
- people with group III disabilities whose average monthly total income per recipient in such a family is no more than 9,444 hryvnia; persons over 55 years of age who have registered with the Employment Center; persons under 23 years of age studying in vocational (vocational), vocational and higher education institutions; persons whose residential premises have been destroyed or damaged (to the extent of being uninhabitable); a family consisting only of disabled persons; children placed in a foster carer's family; foster carers; children temporarily placed in a family of relatives, acquaintances, a foster family, or a family-type orphanage; seriously ill persons.
Clarification was made on the change in the age of children from 14 to 18 years in previously defined categories. It is also clarified that persons caring for a child under 3 years of age also have the right to submit an application for the next period.
In addition, this resolution introduced the payment of temporary assistance for children in respect of whom the absence of parental support has been established guardianship and are temporarily placed in a family of relatives, acquaintances, a foster family, a family-type orphanage, “Child is not alone” in the amount of 2.5 subsistence minimum for children of the appropriate age for each child, and for children with disabilities – 3.5 subsistence minimum for children of the appropriate age for each child.
