The Netherlands has allocated an additional 1 billion euros for military assistance to Ukraine. Also, another 400 million euros were allocated for the reconstruction of Ukraine. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky spoke about this.

“In a telephone conversation, Prime Minister Mark Rutte just announced that the Netherlands has allocated another billion euros for military aid to Ukraine and 400 million euros for restoration. This is in addition to the obligations under our bilateral security agreement. Thank you Marco, thank you Dutch people! This is an exemplary example of support for Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote in Telegram.
Zelensky and Rutte also discussed joint work with partners to speed up the supply of shells for artillery, ammunition and air defense systems.
The President thanked Rutte for the productive Justice for Ukraine conference in The Hague and the launch of the “Losses Register” based on its results.
Preparations for the Peace Summit in Switzerland were also discussed. Zelensky invited the Netherlands to join.

The Netherlands has been one of Ukraine’s allies since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
They have already provided our defenders with weapons with a total value of more than 2. 8 billion euros. The Netherlands will also transfer more than 20 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
