Demand for Chinese cars among Ukrainians increased by 50%. During the first half of the year, Ukrainians purchased about 7.3 thousand passenger cars imported from China. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

Compared to the same period last year, the demand for Chinese-made cars has increased by one and a half times.
Of this amount: new – 5.3 thousand units. (+70%); used – almost 2 thousand units (+9%).
During the period from January to June, cars of Chinese origin covered 16% of the Ukrainian market of new cars.
Ukravtoprom noted , that in the segment of used cars registered for the first time in Ukraine, the share of “Chinese” was 2%.
The absolute majority of passenger cars from China were electric cars – 83%.
The most popular models of new passenger cars of Chinese origin:
- VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 1072 units; HONDA M-NV – 421 units; NISSAN Ariya – 406 units; BYD Song Plus – 392 units; HONDA eNS1 – 344 units.
The most popular models of used cars from China:
- VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 494 units. NISSAN Ariya – 192 units; HONDA eNS1 – 129 units; TOYOTA bZ4X – 104 units; VOLKSWAGEN ID.6 – 92 units.
