Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has transferred equipment and personal protective equipment worth over $80 million to Ukrenergo. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.

“We thank the US government and USAID Ukraine for their assistance in financing the purchase and delivery of 18 high-voltage autotransformers for the Ukrenergo backbone network,” the statement said.
The company noted that some of this equipment is already operating at Ukrenergo facilities, supplying electricity to the homes of millions of Ukrainians.
The new autotransformers are part of a large project by USAID and Ukrenergo to restore Ukrainian energy facilities after Russian strikes.
