Millions of people use the service every day for shopping and traveling, but after the update, some customers cannot use this function.
The company noted that Android 9 was released in 2018 and is considered an outdated OS, so the Google Wallet update should not affect most users.
However, some smartphones do not support newer versions of the operating system, in which case you need to think about a new smartphone, experts advise.
The company noted that they cannot ensure the security of payments on old OS, so they decided to stop supporting Android versions below 9.
