Thanks to this decision, electricity consumption in the ministry building should decrease by more than UAH 1.3 million per year.
118 solar panels on the roof of the ministry cover 310 square meters and have produced more than 9 megawatts of electricity over the past month.
“In addition, we modernized two heating stations, insulated 2 km of pipelines, replaced 600 lamps with energy-efficient ones and renovated more than 200 windows. An energy monitoring system was also introduced, which allows us to use them more rationally,” the minister said.
All this was done with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
