The most popular areas of activity

are the most popular areas of activity of Ukrainian companies:

Construction (23%), information and communications (18%), other services (13%).

At the same time, 82% of companies provide hairdressers and cosmetic services in the sector of other services.

in 2022–2024, the number of Ukrainian enterprises annually increased by an average of 34%. In total, these three industries cover more than half of all registered enterprises.

At the same time, as of February 2024, only 3635 Polish companies were registered in the Ukrainian business space. This is 21 times less than the number of Ukrainian FLP in Poland.

About 31% of Polish companies in Ukraine work in the field of wholesale and retail trade, 17% in the processing industry. The main area of more than 8% of companies is professional, scientific and technical activities.

And about 7% of enterprises operate in the field of administrative and auxiliary service, such data were published by You Control. Interestingly, more than half of the Polish companies are registered in the Lviv region and in Kyiv.

The growth of the number of Ukrainian enterprises in Poland clearly illustrates not only the activity and adaptability of Ukrainians, but also structural changes in the Polish labor market. Many Ukrainians who previously worked for hire now choose the path of self -employment or open their own business. This is not only a response to the restriction of the labor market, but also a way to effectively use their skills and experience, ”said Yuri Grigorenko, representative of Gremi Personal.

Analysts also observe changes in the behavior of employers. More and more Polish companies are open to cooperation with Ukrainian contractors and entrepreneurs, especially in the areas of construction, logistics and industry. At the same time, there are challenges – for example, difficulties with a bureaucracy when registering a business and the search for partners for sustainable development.

According to a study of the forum of responsible development, without immigration after 2014, Poland GDP in 2023 would be 2.3% lower. In the long run, the migration will contribute to an increase in GDP by 12.5% by 2050.
