The Pension Fund's expenses for pension payments have increased by 7.2% over the past year. Prices in Ukraine have risen by 14% over this period. This is reported by the Pension Fund.

Details
According to the fund, the PFU budget received UAH 140.8 billion from all sources of funding in January-February 2025. This is UAH 13.6 billion more than in the same period last year.
Own revenues are UAH 99.3 billion (of which UAH 4.0 billion is the receipt of a single contribution for certain categories of insured persons from the state budget).
State budget funds for the payment of pensions, supplements and increases to pensions assigned under pension programs, and the deficit of PFU funds amounted to 31.6 billion hryvnia.
Funds for the payment of benefits and housing subsidies to citizens for payment of housing and communal services, purchase of solid fuel 9.8 billion hryvnia.
The total amount of expenses on pensions and other planned payments amounted to UAH 140.9 billion, which is UAH 9.7 billion more than the same period last year.
Expenditures on pension payments amounted to UAH 123.4 billion. This is 7.2% more than in January-February last year (UAH 115.1 billion).
