Postponement of deadlines
Among the deferred tasks: the appointment of the head of the BEB from February to July 2025, the submission of a bill on critical third parties in the financial sector – from May to September, amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code to combat corruption – from December 2024 to July 2025, and the publication of the NABU audit – from February.
The IMF added four new targets:
- development of an IT plan for the State Tax Service and the State Tax Service within the framework of the National Revenue Strategy — until September 2025; adoption of sectoral strategies under the new state investment strategy — until December 2025; verification of the professional suitability of the NKTSPRF — until June 2025; revision of the selection for the supervisory boards of state enterprises — until August 2025.
Forecast of execution
Getmantsev believes that there will be no problems with implementation if the NKTSPRF does not fail its beacon for the second time. Delays in the appointment of the head of the Customs Service are possible until June, but this will become clear later. The next review of the program in July will determine new medium-term goals.
