The Antimonopoly Service fined Apple in July 2022, accusing it of discriminatory requirements that prohibited iOS application developers from informing customers in the applications themselves about the possibility of paying for purchases outside the App Store , as well as use alternative payment methods. Apple also limited links to developers' Internet resources, not allowing such applications in the App Store.

In October 2023, Apple officially allowed Russian developers to build the ability to pay with third-party payment systems into their programs for iOS and iPadOS. At the same time, Apple will charge a 27% commission for purchases using third-party systems. The standard App Store commission is 30%.

At the same time, only developers from Russia have the opportunity to insert external links; links will not be displayed to users of other countries.

In February last year, Apple already paid a fine of 906 million rubles, at the request of the Russian Kaspersky Lab.

Recall that in early March 2023, Apple suspended sales of all products in Russia and limited the use of its services, including Apple Pay. However, Apple devices are still widely sold on the Russian market through intermediaries.
