It is noted that this year’s figures are 3.8% lower compared to January 2023. January exports of IT services brought the Ukrainian economy $103 million less compared to December last year.
Ukrainian exports of IT services, based on the results of the entire last year, decreased by 8.5%. According to forecasts, the situation will not become easier. January's numbers are the worst of any month since Russia's full-scale invasion began. Consequently, the decline of the IT industry will continue in 2024,” said Stepan Veselovsky, CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster.
The total export revenue of all services in Ukraine in January of this year amounted to $1.35 billion, which $247 million or 15% less compared to December.
