In March 2024, the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine received UAH 9.2 billion in excise tax. This is reported by the tax service.

“In March 2024, the general fund of the State Budget of Ukraine received an excise tax on excisable goods (products) produced in Ukraine and imported into the customs territory of Ukraine in the amount of UAH 9.2 billion. This is 103.3% of the income indicator proven by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (an additional 0.3 billion hryvnia was received),” the message says.
The achievement of income indicators was achieved due to additional excise tax revenues:
- for tobacco products produced and imported to Ukraine – by UAH 0.3 billion, or 105.8% of the proven target (UAH 5.9 billion); for electrical energy produced in Ukraine – in the amount of 0.2 billion UAH, or 135.9% of the proven target (0.6 billion UAH); for alcoholic vodka products produced and imported to Ukraine – by UAH 0.1 billion, or 112.6% of the proven target (UAH 0.8 billion).
