Inflation in Ukraine remained at 3.2% on an annual basis. This is evidenced by State Statistics Service data.

Similar to March, consumer price growth in April remained at the lowest level since October 2020 (2.6%).
Inflation in April amounted to 0.2%, since the beginning of the year – by 1.4%.
Food and soft drinks prices fell by 0.5% over the year. Butter increased in price the most – by 14.9%, milk – by 9.3%, fruit – by 7.0%, cheese and soft cheese – by 7.8%.
At the same time, eggs prices fell by 41.9%, vegetable oil – by 15.4%, sugar – by 15.1%, vegetables – by 13.9%.
Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 8.0%, while prices for clothing and footwear fell by 6.2%.
Housing, water, electricity, gas and other types of fuel increased in price by 12.9%.
