Since the beginning of the year, farmers have received 17.7 billion hryvnia under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9” program

Since the beginning of the year, 6,571 agricultural enterprises have received UAH 42.3 billion in bank loans for development. Of these, under the state program “Available loans 5-7-9”, 3878 farms were financed for 17.7 billion hryvnia. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The largest volume of loans under various programs was received by farmers in the following regions:

    Kyiv – UAH 12.7 billion. allocated for 615 enterprises; Kirovogradskaya – UAH 2.7 billion for 811; Ternopil – UAH 2.6 billion for 259; Dnepropetrovsk – UAH 2.5 billion for 475; Lviv – UAH 2.47 billion – for 394; Vinnytsia – UAH 2.3 billion – for 629; Poltavskaya – UAH 2.2 billion for 369; Odessa – UAH 2.1 billion for 529; Kharkov region – UAH 1.8 billion – for 373.

Under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9” program, enterprises in the following regions received the most:

    Kiev region – UAH 2.3 billion for 362 farms; Kirovogradskaya – UAH 1.8 billion for 524; Vinnytsia – UAH 1.6 billion – for 393; Kharkiv – UAH 1.6 billion allocated for 244; Odessa – UAH 1.2 billion for 340; Volynskaya – UAH 1 billion for 211; Dnepropetrovsk – 981.1 million UAH. for 233.

Preferential financing for agricultural producers under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9” program over 2024-2025 is possible thanks to the support of the World Bank within the framework of the “Emergency Project for Providing Inclusive support for the restoration of agriculture in Ukraine (ARISE).

The program simplifies access for micro and small businesses to bank lending. Farmers can receive a loan in the amount of up to 90 million UAH.

Lending is provided at 5-9% per annum, depending on the category of the loan and the business entity.
