The Pension Fund of Ukraine has approved the average salary for 2023, taken into account for calculating pensions. The average salary increased by 7.0% (by UAH 932.25) to UAH 14,308.46. This is stated in the PFU data.

How did wages change
However, the average annual inflation in Ukraine in 2023 was 12.9%. Therefore, the real salary of Ukrainians decreased again last year – by about 5%.
According to the PFU, the average salary in 2023 was:
- January – 12,644.98 hryvnia February – 12 UAH 794.11 March – UAH 13,423.28 April – UAH 13,626.02 May – UAH 14,109.64 June – UAH 16,012.38 July – UAH 13,996.68 August – UAH 13,778.13 September – UAH 14,518 .38 hryvnia October – 14,882.88 hryvnia November – 14,983.00 hryvnia December – 16,836.84 hryvnia for the whole year – 14,308.46 hryvnia.
