Over the past month, more than 5.7 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 11% more than last year. However, compared to the previous month, consumer activity in the car market fell by 14%. Ukravtoprom reports this.

Top 5 brands
The leadership in the market is held by the Japanese brand Toyota – 856 registrations.
Second in the number of numbers received ( 536 units) remains Renault.
Volkswagen ended the month with 468 cars sold, rising to third place in the ranking.

Also in the top on April 5 were BMW with a result of 405 units, and Skoda – 317 cars.
The best seller on the Ukrainian market for new passenger cars remains the compact crossover Renault Duster, the April sales of which amounted to 484 units.
In total, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have purchased 22.2 thousand new passenger cars, which is 35% more than in the same period 2023
