According to the results of the third quarter of 2023, the average monthly salary was UAH 17,937. Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by 22.7%. This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Service, writes UNIAN.

In the first quarter of this year, the average salary was almost 15,436 UAH (an annual increase of 5.6%), in the second – 17,176 UAH (25.2%).
The top 5 industries with high wages look like this:
- information and telecommunications – 37,542 UAH; financial and insurance activities – 34,189 UAH; air transport – 33,205 UAH; public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance – UAH 24,168; professional, scientific and technical activities – 24141 UAH.
At the same time, the least paid in the third quarter were in the following sectors:
- functioning of libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions – 11,373 UAH; activities in the field of creativity, art and entertainment – 11,503 UAH; education – 12,180 UAH; postal and courier activities – 12804 UAH; temporary accommodation and catering – 13007 UAH.
