War in cyberspace: Ukrainian hackers spoke about new large-scale attacks on Russian structures

Over the past week, Ukrainian hackers attacked not only Russian government agencies, but also private ones that pay taxes and finance the war against Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

During the week from March 11 to 18, 2024:

< ul> resources of PJSC Rostelecom were attacked – communication equipment of the Trans-Baikal and Krasnoyarsk regions of Russia was disabled; access was gained to the electronic document management system of the “government of the Belgorod region”, fake mailings were carried out to 12 thousand local officials; the communications equipment of Belznak LLC was attacked and disabled; the information resources of the “municipal budgetary institution of the Stary Oskol city diversified derivative association of public utilities” were attacked and destroyed; the infrastructure of JSC Tommoloko was attacked and destroyed; the server infrastructure was captured and destroyed along with backup copies of the hosting provider “1Gb.ru” and tens of thousands of websites it serves; More than 40 Mikrotik network devices were disabled at the city electronic transport control center in Novosibirsk. “The damage caused to the enemy can amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Attacks against Russia in cyberspace continue,” the message says.
