Accordingly, the metro refused to undertake any obligations part of the construction work and reported this to the company «Kievmetrostroy». It is noted that the customer paid 4 billion hryvnia to the contractor in advance. Now the company must return this money.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Nikolai Povoroznik said that the KP «Kiev Metro» will hold a new tender to continue the construction of the metro line to Vinogradar.
According to him, the company «Kievmetrostroy», which was the contractor in the construction, is in a deep crisis. It is known that she survived a corporate conflict and fired most of her employees.
«As far as I understand, from «Kievmetrostroy» there was practically nothing left. We will change the artist and continue to work», — Povoroznik explained.
He added that the metro will evaluate and validate the work performed, and all identified facts of abuse will be transferred to law enforcement agencies. According to him, criminal proceedings against «Kievmetrostroy» is already open.
