The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ivan Vyhovsky, noted that some citizens, civil servants, and officials say that the National Police has 250 thousand police officers, and propose sending 100 thousand to the front.
However, according to him, there are only about 100 thousand active police officers in Ukraine today. Of this number who currently work in the units of the National Police of Ukraine, about 20 thousand law enforcement officers join the force every day. About 15 thousand more — investigators and interrogators, 20 thousand operatives and thousands of police officers who are fighting at the front, in particular, in the “Lyut” unit.
