The public, noticing Kabaeva at such an unholy event, began timidly offering to deprive her of sports titles. However, the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin, commenting on Kabaeva’s participation in the scandalous party, said:

Kremlin representative Peskov completely refused to comment at all on Kabaeva’s appearance at the party. Official representatives of Alina Kabaeva and the gymnast herself have not yet commented on this situation.
