According to him, his wife was afraid to move to the Ukrainian capital. At the same time, the former head coach of «Dynamo» also noted that he has not yet completed his sports career.
«It is true that I have not retired. I left Dynamo because my wife Nelly was afraid to move to Kyiv. I didn’t want to know that she was home alone and worried about me», — stated Mircea Lucescu.
The experienced coach emphasized that he has a boundless passion for football, but it also depends on his state of health. At the same time, Lucescu does not rule out that he may soon again lead the Turkish Besiktas.
