In Russia, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian authorities are preparing the regional center for the evacuation.
In particular, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, addressed the residents of the regional center with an offer of help to everyone, who wants to leave the city under fire.
«Today we are ready to transport you to Stary Oskol and Gubkin, where you will be in fairly comfortable conditions , in warm and safe rooms. You will stay there as long as it takes,” the official said.
It is worth noting that Stary Oskol is located 140 km from Belgorod, and Gubkin — 120 km. At the same time, the Russian Federation does not rule out that the influx of people wishing to flee the war on Russian territory will be so large-scale that they will have to turn to other regions for help.
