Speaker of the United Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Colonel Alexander Shtupun, told how many fighters Russian troops are holding in the Avdeevka area.
According to him, the Russian invaders are holding about 40 in the Avdeevka direction thousand soldiers. At the same time, Shtupun noted that the number of enemy troops in this area has not changed significantly.
«Somewhere approximately the enemy holds the same number personnel. He uses equipment from the depths, that is, he tries not to keep it on the front line, because our soldiers destroy it almost immediately. And the infantry is hiding in the trenches. In the Avdeevsky direction — this is approximately 40 thousand active», — noted the military man.
Shtupun added that in the Tauride direction Russia lost 437 people, as well as 60 units of military equipment, in just one day. The occupiers' losses included a tank, 11 armored vehicles, and 10 artillery systems. The Ukrainian military also managed to hit the anti-aircraft complex «TOR».
