Reserve Colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, instructor pilot, military expert Roman Svitan noted that Russia’s plans are written down in its main documents, and they are obvious.
“Five of our regions are included in the Russian constitution: Crimea, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson. Therefore, reading the primary sources, it is clear where they will plan offensive actions,” he emphasized.
At the same time, the expert noted that Russian plans to seize other countries also cannot be ruled out. In particular, Svitan mentioned Moldova and the Balkans, but these are goals for at least 10 years.
The military expert believes that the occupiers will definitely not be able to implement them, since they have not yet solved any serious question written in their constitution.
“They actually “killed” the constitution when they included five regions of a foreign state. Now they will try to somehow restore this legal field, to reach the borders, but this is an unrealistic process. They cannot even break out of the first line of defense in the Donetsk region,” summed up Svitan.
