Adrian Prokip reported this information on Facebook, reports URA-Inform.
Energy expert at the Ukrainian Institute of the Future Andrian Prokip noted that the start of power outages for debts to Ukrainians is planned for the end of January 2024.
At the same time, he noted that disconnections from utilities services will not be available to Ukrainians whose homes were damaged by shelling or hostilities, as well as those living in regions of active hostilities or under occupation.
At the same time, Prokip warned that shutdowns threaten those consumers who owed more than 3,000 hryvnia for utility services for more than two months.
The expert added that the Ukrainian government took such a step because many Ukrainians began to abuse the moratorium and build up debts.
We recall that it was previously reported that some Ukrainians may be left without land in 2025: who is at risk of losing their plot.
