She said that this year Ukraine will receive the first F-16 fighters , associated infrastructure and spare parts.
«We are working as a coalition on the F-16 program and are committed to ensuring Ukraine's initial operational readiness with its F-16 program 2024», — she noted.
According to a Pentagon spokeswoman, this program covers pilot training, platforms, technician training, as well as spare parts and ammunition.
It is worth noting that at the end December, the first group of Ukrainian pilots completed basic training at the Royal Air Force and went to study flying F-16 fighter jets in Denmark.
