The head of the office reported this General Director of Metinvest, Alexander Vodoviz, citing the company’s press service, reports URA-Inform.
More than 10 thousand employees of the group, according to Vodoviz, have military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or are in the army in present time. The company also employs many people with disabilities returning from combat.
«We welcome all veterans, provide jobs, and would like to see those who have contributed to the defense of our country come back and continue their work. We will develop many veteran-related programs and plan to implement them together with our American partners to benefit from their extensive experience based on the Vietnam War», — noted Vodoviz.
The head of Metinvest emphasized that in the future a million mobilized Ukrainians will return home, faced with physical and psychological trauma, and emphasized the importance of working with these people. The company allocates significant funds for adaptation programs, despite the staff shortage caused by mobilization.
Vodoviz noted that every sixth employee of the group currently serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which represents a significant burden.
Recall that Ukraine is going on the defensive: Shmygal admitted that they have already decided to build at the front.
