On Thursday morning, February 8, in the city of Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region, unknown persons in military uniform shot a Toyota Land Cruiser SUV with automatic firearms. Deputy mayor Vitaly Zhuravlev was driving.
As a result of the shelling, the car caught fire, and the driver received numerous penetrating gunshot wounds, from which he died at the scene.
«According to the investigation, on February 8, 2024, on one of the streets of the city of Nikopol, unknown persons shot up a car with an unidentified firearm. It contained the deputy mayor. As a result of the shelling, the man died on the spot. The “Siren” plan has been announced in the city, the prosecutor’s office reported and added that law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
We recall that it was previously reported that because of the TCC raids, they were beaten mother and child: it became known about the incident in western Ukraine.
