Many not only in Ukraine, but throughout the world are wondering about the timing of the end of hostilities, but the head of the Ukrainian state, Vladimir Zelensky, gave a relatively clear answer.
Zelensky announced this information in an interview with CBS News, reports “URA” -Inform.”
According to Zelensky, the war in Ukraine will continue until the country becomes strong and ready for self-defense.
< p>«The question of when the war will end comes down to how strong Ukraine will become. We have not yet reached the strength that we can have. We must give ourselves the opportunity to act on the battlefield», — noted the head of state.
Zelensky stressed that for this, Ukraine needs, firstly, to receive Patriot systems, which can be provided by the United States, since they will help ensure security in the airspace.
Secondly, the country needs parity in artillery power after the Ukrainian defenders begin to advance. And thirdly, long-range missiles are extremely important.
«If Russia realizes that Ukraine has missiles that can also reach it, like their X or «Daggers», then she will act less aggressively. This will reduce the number of attacks on both people and energy infrastructure, because Putin will fear for his safety and his regime», — added the president.
