In the occupied Energodar, where the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is located, under the control of the army of the Russian Federation for more than two years, at least three direct hits into the generator shell.
This was reported by Dialog.UA, citing a direct statement by the IAEA Director General, Rafael Grossi, reports URA-Inform.
It is noted that This is the first time such incidents have occurred since November 2022. According to him, the IAEA and ISAMZ confirmed that at least three direct hits were recorded in the main structure of the containment shell of the Zaporozhye NPP reactor. This is unacceptable.
The Russian side immediately blamed the Ukrainian side for this, claiming that drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were launched at the station. However, these accusations were answered. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that Ukraine is not involved in any armed provocations at the Zaporizhia NPP, which was occupied by Russian troops.
According to representatives of Ukrainian military intelligence, the UAV strike near a nuclear reactor controlled by the Russian Federation is a simulation attack by the Russian military on the territory of the nuclear power plant.
Recall that in the West they are discussing a new scenario for Ukraine: it has become known who can arrive here.
