German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that NATO partners can provide Ukraine with additional Patriot air defense systems.
Scholz reported this information, URA-Inform reports.
According to Scholz, our state can receive six more Patriot systems to protect its skies from Russian attacks.
«We have already provided two systems, now we have supplied a third, and we are the country that is making the most significant contribution to this matter. The last, third system that we announced and which will be transferred to Ukraine and will be used there, — This is also our call to other countries to make similar decisions», — Scholz said.
According to the Chancellor, the Patriot systems, which are available in NATO countries, are very important for Ukraine and will allow better protection against numerous Russian attacks. Therefore, they must be transferred to our state.
«And I I would like to repeat this call and deepen it once again. We've heard of seven additional systems. One of them — our. We hope to find six more in the NATO context, and I have again used this opportunity in many negotiations to convey this message», — he emphasized.
