The famous Ukrainian theater and film actor Yevgeny Shumilov died at the front. The sad news was reported by his close friend Ivan Marchenko. He noted that Yevgeny Shumilov mobilized into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces two years ago and went to the front to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders.
Unfortunately, his life was tragically cut short on April 30, when the actor was helping a wounded brother.
«With deep sadness, I want to inform you that on April 30, my close friend Evgeny Shumilov died at the front, defending a wounded brother. Cheerful, positive, upbeat and real — This is how you will remain in my heart forever, friend! Rest in peace, friend, we love you and hope that you are now in a better place,” wrote Ivan Marchenko.
It is worth noting that Evgeny Shumilov was a popular Ukrainian actor. Before the war, he often played on theater stages, and also starred in Ukrainian TV series and advertising. One of these was his role as a warrior in a promotional video for the company «Novaya Poshta.
Also Evgeniy starred in such projects as «Real Mysticism», «Sidorenko-Sidorenko», «Agents of Justice», «Physical Evidence» and many others.
