It is reported that over the past three months the average pension in Ukraine has increased by 73 hryvnia and now amounts to 5816 UAH. In January 2024 it was 5385 UAH. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the size of the pension has increased from 3991 to 5816 UAH.
It is noted that the average pension increased by 45.7%, which is more than inflation during this period, which amounted to 35.5%. This means that the increase in pension must cover the increase in prices for goods and services.
Since January 2022, the minimum pension has increased from 1934 to 2361 hryvnia, which is 22%. This increase could not even compensate for inflation, so people who receive a minimum pension lost the most.
It is worth noting that judges have the highest average pension: at the beginning of 2022 it was 90,822 hryvnia, and now — 105,604 hryvnia. The judges succeeded in recognizing the limitation of their payments as illegal, and continue to receive unlimited pensions under a special law.
We would like to remind you that it was previously reported which of the pensioners may not undergo identification: PFU response.
