In particular, the representative of the head of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Russia has not yet plans to participate in the Peace Summit. According to him, this is due to the fact that Moscow does not trust the Ukrainian authorities.
As Peskov noted, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has repeatedly emphasized that the Russian Federation is allegedly open to negotiations on ending the war with Ukraine. At the same time, Putin's press secretary emphasized that the Russian Federation “can talk” with the Ukrainian authorities, but “cannot trust them”.
Commenting on the idea of Russia's participation in the second Peace Summit, Dmitry Peskov stated that no summit with the participation of the Russian Federation is planned for now.
«An agenda that would suit Moscow has not yet been voiced in the context preparations for a conference on Ukraine,” the Kremlin's press secretary summed up.
