Ukrainian Defense Forces have achieved new successes in the Kursk region of Russia. Ukrainian troops advanced east of the city of Sudzha, liberating territory near the settlement of Mirny in the Kursk region.

According to the source, as of August 24, the area controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces is 823.43 square kilometers, and the area of the “gray zone” is 416.7 square kilometers. Compared to August 23, when Ukrainian forces controlled 815.54 square kilometers and the “gray zone” occupied 424.6 square kilometers, a positive change was recorded.
Analysts also note that Russian troops are advancing in Pokrovskoe area of Donetsk region, in the area of the villages of Grodovka and Novogrodovka.
Since August 6, Ukrainian military personnel have been actively operating in the border areas of Kursk region, controlling dozens of settlements.
