On September 1, Russia announced a large-scale drone attack, claiming that 15 regions, including Moscow and the Moscow region, were hit. The department stated that in the Kursk region 46 drones were intercepted, 34 in Bryansk, 28 in Voronezh, 14 in Belgorod, and 8 drones in Ryazan Oblast. Two drones were allegedly destroyed over Moscow, and another 7 in Moscow Oblast. In the Kaluga region, 5 drones were recorded, in Lipetsk – 4, in Tula – 3, 2 drones were intercepted over Tambov and Smolensk regions, and one each in Oryol, Tver and Ivanovo regions.
Thus, Russian authorities claim that 14 regions of the Russian Federation and the capital, Moscow, were attacked.
