Starlink terminals, which are used in Ukraine are not financed by Elon Musk, but exclusively by Poland.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Рolskieradio24.
This information was confirmed on October 10 by the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Radosław Sikorski during a press conference on Polish Radio. He stressed that Poland will continue to finance the project, as Starlink provides critical internet access for Ukrainians, which allows them to effectively counter Russian aggression.
“The Starlink modules that are used in Ukraine are not sponsored by Mr. Elon Musk, but are and will be financed exclusively by Poland. We do this , and no one else”, – said Radoslaw Sikorski.
According to him, a stable internet connection is one of the key factors that allow the Ukrainian military to continue its defense even in difficult conditions.
At the same time, the minister Foreign Affairs stressed that Poland does not plan to stop funding Starlink terminals. This is important because internet access via the satellite network remains critical for military operations and communications, especially on the front lines.
It also became known that in the EU they will change the model of financing military aid to Ukraine: what is this connected with?
