The Russian Foreign Ministry recalled Vladimir Putin's statement in which he described the use of long-range American missiles as direct participation of NATO countries in the conflict.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Tsn.
This statement was made against the backdrop of US President Joe Biden's decision to approve the use of such weapons by the Ukrainian army for strikes on Russian territory, which caused a stir among Russian propagandists.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova recalled that Putin had already spoken out on this topic. Russian media clarified that the president had stated in September of this year that the use of Western long-range weapons by the Ukrainian military to attack Russia would be regarded as NATO involvement in military operations.
Putin also claims that the use of such weapons is impossible without satellite data from NATO countries, and that missions for strikes can only be entered into these systems by the alliance's military. That is why he called the use of American long-range weapons by the Ukrainian Armed Forces “direct participation of NATO in the war in Ukraine.”
«This would mean that the United States and European countries are at war with Russia. And if this is so, then, bearing in mind the change in the very essence of this conflict, we will make appropriate decisions, taking into account the threats that will be created for us, the Kremlin dictator threatened.
At the same time, Britain stopped deliveries of Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine: the media found out the reasons.
