Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko said that territorial recruitment centers have received expanded powers, allowing them to check documents and carry out mobilization without involving the police.

It is noted that the above-mentioned change is aimed at increasing the efficiency of mobilization processes and reducing the burden on law enforcement agencies.
“Cases of abuse of power by the TCC are isolated,” Klimenko assured.
He noted that monitoring compliance with the law remains a priority task for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Minister stressed that the new rules require TCC employees to adhere to strict standards of conduct. In case of violations, citizens can contact law enforcement agencies or the court to protect their rights.
According to experts, such an initiative will speed up mobilization activities in the context of growing threats, but requires careful control by government agencies to prevent abuses.
