President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that at the meeting in Paris with Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron, the key issue was the discussion of ending the war.

< p>Zelensky emphasized the importance of a peaceful settlement and stressed that a frozen conflict is not a solution, but only a prolongation of suffering.
“I said that we, more than anyone in the world, want the war to end. A diplomatic end to the conflict will save more lives, and that's what we want. But Putin doesn't want the war to end. That's obvious, and therefore, he must be forced,” the president said.
Zelensky recalled that for Ukraine, war is not only a question of territorial integrity, but also the lives of millions of citizens. He stressed that the world community must take an active position with regard to Russia, using all available diplomatic and economic instruments of pressure.
The President also noted that Ukraine continues to strengthen its defense capabilities in order to be prepared for any scenario. At the same time, he expressed hope for constructive assistance from allies in preventing escalation and advancing the negotiation process.
