Athos Salome, known as the “New Nostradamus”, attracted attention with his gloomy predictions about a possible Third World War.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Rbc.
< p>According to him, a global conflict could break out as early as 2025, given the growing tensions in the international arena.
Salome notes that this war will not be like the previous ones: it will be a confrontation not only between people, but also between technologies. He emphasizes that events in the Middle East, Russia's actions, and the increasing intervention of the West indicate the likelihood of a new round of conflict. At the same time, modern developments in the field of military technology could play a major role.
Of particular concern are new weapons and cyber threats. Salome says Russia is already demonstrating its willingness to defend itself with new technologies, including nuclear-capable weapons designed to destroy satellites. Such developments, he warns, could lead to geopolitical crises and devastating consequences for civilian and military systems.
Salomé’s predictions also include the growing threat of large-scale cyberattacks that could cripple the global economy, infrastructure and security. He points to the South China Sea as a potential escalation point, where territorial disputes could escalate into a critical incident involving cyberattacks.
Salomé also talks about “new technologies” related to artificial intelligence that are currently in the shadows but could soon be used in conflicts. These include automated combat systems and intelligent algorithms that can change tactics in real time. According to him, such developments add an element of uncertainty, increasing tensions amid existing conflicts.
Salomé thus predicts that World War III will not only be a confrontation between states, but also an arena for testing the latest technologies. In this conflict, artificial intelligence, cyber attacks and robotic systems will play a key role along with people, which could change the face of modern warfare forever.
At the same time, the West honestly admitted what they think about peace in Ukraine: details.
